Acknowledging RFK Jr. & Marianne Williamson

As I formally changed my FEC filing from Democratic to Independent on August 15th, 2024, Marianne Williamson formally ended her campaign on August 17th, 2024. RFK is expected to withdraw in the coming days.

Therefore, as we move forward in this critical campaign, I want to take a moment to acknowledge and reflect on the journeys of Marianne Williamson and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Both of these individuals have made significant contributions to the political discourse, each bringing unique perspectives and passion to their campaigns.

Regarding Robert F. Kennedy Jr.:

I have conflicted feelings about RFK Jr. I never tuned into his campaign too closely, but it's clear he was trying to position himself as an independent from the start, despite coming from a political dynasty and leveraging his family name for personal gain and branding. While I do applaud his attempt to challenge the entrenched two-party powers, I feel deep disappointment in his choices. Marianne Williamson ended her campaign last week with a respectful plea for her supporters to follow their hearts, and as of this week, she has not endorsed any candidate. RFK Jr., on the other hand, seems more focused on his own gain, possibly seeking a cabinet or high-level position in exchange for endorsing one of the major parties. His potential endorsement of Trump, or any major candidate, is deeply disappointing, unethical, and morally wrong to its core. I want to respect RFK for his goals, but I can't support this decision. To his supporters, I encourage you to explore our platform, a truly independent campaign free from corruption and big donors, relying instead on small contributions from millions of Americans. I served four years in the military, and I am prepared, willing, and volunteering to serve as our President!

Regarding Marianne Williamson:

Marianne Williamson, in contrast to RFK Jr., has always followed her heart and sense of right and wrong throughout both her campaigns. Though she didn’t receive widespread support four years ago, she ran an admirably ethical campaign. I made the decision not to run then, waiting instead until August 2023 to enter the race. With her withdrawal this month, Marianne has once again chosen to prioritize integrity, asking her supporters to follow their own hearts and inner voices rather than endorsing a major party for her own gain. I deeply respect her for this. If elected, I would be honored to work with Marianne in my administration. To Marianne: from one American to another, thank you for your service 🫡. And to her supporters, please consider joining us. Check out our campaign, consider donating, and lend us your support. Together, we can win!

Both of these campaigns have left an indelible mark on the political landscape, and as we push forward, I encourage those who believed in their missions to join us in our shared goal of healing our people, our politics, and our planet.
